Josh Abrams is a 24-year-old folk singer-songwriter from southern Connecticut. After more than a decade honing his craft as a lead guitarist in cover bands across respected local venues, he began to crave a deeper artistic voice. Inspired by writers like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Jason Isbell, Josh turned toward original songwriting, blending sharp storytelling with warm, detailed acoustic work.

His debut full-length album, Frozen River, arrives Fall 2025 and pulls from his childhood as a kid of divorce, longtime feelings of not quite fitting in, and his ongoing search for an authentic life.

Note From Josh:

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. This is where you can keep up with my music, my life, and everything in between, and I’m genuinely grateful you’re here for the ride. Writing songs looks different every time. Some days I’m trying to untangle something from five years ago that still keeps me up at night. Other days I’m spinning a story about a drunken cowboy I’ve never met. There’s no telling where a song will start or where it’ll take me. What never changes is that every song comes from a deeply personal place. My lyrics won’t always paint me in the best light, but they’re honest, and they’re mine. Writing music has been the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done. It lets me process my own experiences in a way that sometimes, somehow, ends up belonging to other people too.

Right now, I’m gearing up to release my first nine-song album, Frozen River, a collection of stories that are unapologetically my authentic self. My hope is that in these melodies and words, you find something that feels a little bit like your own life, too.
